We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo, in the main building (Wyndham). The condo was cozy, warm, spacious, and perfectly located for the slopes AND walks into town. This was my goal for our lodging this trip, and I am SO happy with the result. The pool was a short walk (compared to other sectors of MSS), the Ski Valet (Charter Sports) was one floor below us, and the slopes were just up the stairs & across the courtyard (probably a .2 mile walk or so from the rental area). You can ski BACK to the condo a lil closer, if you take the trail up the little hill just to the right of the Quicksilver lift.
We walked into town for dinner and poking around all the fun shops a couple of nights, and my mom was able to hang out in the beautiful lobby with fresh water, a book, & a nice fire while she waited for us.
The full kitchen was great, as we were able to make breakfast each morning & save a few bucks there. We had a washer and dryer, which made transporting the boys' ski socks back home a MUCH more pleasant endeavor. ;) The bathtubs were nice & large, so we could soak & warm up! The bed in the master was pretty soft. I felt like we were falling toward the middle, a bit. But, overall, we truly enjoyed our stay.More
