We recently stayed in the Alpine house for 4 days for my daughter's wedding. The house was wonderful; plenty of room and amenities (we hosted 60+ for a BBQ @ the house the day after the wedding). The staff were all incredibly attentive and polite; any requests were promptly addressed. I would highly recommend The Lodge for a wedding or vacation! THANK YOU to Jenny and her staff for making my daughter's special day perfect!!

Room Tip: The Alpine House is a great value for families or groups.

Loved this hotel! The best views in town from the hotel rooms and restaurant, clean + well updated rooms, near town (feels far out), wonderful staff, all the amentiries of a nice hotel with the feel of a cabin in the woods! Very good experience- will use again!

The Lodge at Breckenridge is an amazing venue for a wedding and/or reception. We began planning our wedding over a year and a half out and their sales/event team stayed right with us for the entire time. This was a destination wedding and they did a great job of walking us through everything and helping us with resources. We had a small wedding and chose to take advantage of their weekday special- best value I found and I did A LOT of research!! The location and deck views are breathtaking, the food is impeccable, and The Lodge has a special charm that cannot be matched. The day of the wedding was simply amazing- the staff was attentive, helpful, and a pure joy to have around for our big day! The only issue, and it is minor, came when somehow they forgot that we had ordered a dessert for the reception from them. Luckily it was figured out and they fixed it right away- it did not impact anything for the wedding or reception. I am not sure how the miscommunication happened since I had been in contact with them so much and had an original proposal with it. Alas, it was all ok so not a big deal at all. I cannot speak enough good things about The Lodge and I would recommend them to any bride looking for an amazing experience (and incredible pictures) for their big day!!

Room Tip: Get a mountain view room- it is worth it!

It was our pleasure to be part of such a special day for you! Thank you for the kind feedback about our team, we will make sure to pass that along. We are sorry to hear about the hiccup with the dessert but glad we were able to resolve. Congratulations to you both!
Cheer, Rhonda

We had a great weekend stay at the Lodge. Free Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. Views were amazing. No events happening while we were there so it was very quiet. Restaurant and bar always busy. Spa looked a bit outdated but we didnt get any services there so I cant speak for the quality. Rooms are simple, clean, nothing fancy. Fridge in room. AC unit and fan so heat was not an issue. We heard some rooms do no have AC so ask. Hottubs were nice to relax in- was not packed either. No pool at this lodge. No elevator either so get ready to carry your luggage to and from. Ample parking so no issues there. They have a shuttle to and from main street which is super convenient. We met one of the shuttle drivers, Dayne and he was so helpful. Ask him about Jeeping in the mountains nearby. He has a lot of information. Mention to him that you read it in this review. If you're looking for a no frills spot, this is it! We would definitely go back!

Thank you for your feedback from your recent stay. We do have AC's in SOME rooms and we also have an elevator that goes to our Restaurant and event space area. We look forward to seeing you back!

Terrific old mountain lodge provides fantastic views, restaurant, staff. Rooms are dated but still work fine for couples. Make sure to request a room with mountain views; also check out Traverse restaurant for happy hour to enjoy the setting. Front desk manager Sveta Schrantz and Allison in restaurant were great. Lodge offers shuttle service downtown so you don't have to fight the crowds at Breckenridge. They also offer free breakfast for folks who like to make their own waffles. Great place for weddings, too, since two were going on during the one day I stayed at Lodge. Highly recommended despite fact entire lodge going through renovations that will make it even better. Most pressing need? Air conditioning.

Room Tip: Reserve early to get rooms on second floor with views of mountains
