My boyfriend and I decided to make the drive from Denver on a visit from NY to experience White Water Rafting in Colorado. We had an excellent trip and our guide was excellent. The only caveat worth mentioning is that in August, the water levels are not as high. If you have the chance to go earlier in the year (Spring), you may feel it is more exciting. We were novice white water rafters and we felt very comfortable.
My only complaint is that the photos are very expensive. One photo costs 25$, which is pretty steep.
