You will not find a better snowmobile guide than Mike. We went out two days and he too us places we never would have found. As much adventure as you want. He knows the powder. I tend to like to do my own thing, but so glad we got Mike. Excellent new machines.

The owners and operators of Grand Mesa Lodge are a great hosts and very friendly and make you feel at home. The cabins are clean and very modern but make you feel like you are in a cozy mountain retreat. Will continue to come back year after year.

Mike and Rose run a great place. Quiet, comfortable and a little rustic. They continue to update the cabins. They have a little store there that you can buy milk, eggs and some canned food. We try to stay there at least once a year. Internet available at the office only so the kids will have to find something productive to do.

Room Tip: We're not about to tell you which cabin we stay in so it will be available when we want it.

Thank you for the nice review. Love the comment about the wifi. We get many families here just for that reason - to reconnect. Get the kids off the phones and outdoors. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

My husband and I loved our cabin #10. The cabin was very clean and spacious for the two of us. Definitely 5 star camping!!! The only recommendations I have for the owner are 1. Door security, they were difficult to close and lock. 2. Screen doors would be great to let the breeze through and the mosquitos out. 3. The sofa and futon didn't have much support but since we didn't use them very much it didn't bother us. Yes the cabins could use a little TLC to the inside with some paint and updates but overall it was an extremely enjoyable experience. As long as I feel like I am staying in a clean space, the other things don't bother me. The area was beautiful and close to the lake. The climb up and down the hill was moderately daunting considering the altitude but very beautiful. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. All in all, we can't wait to return!!!

These cabins are right off the highway, so it's easy to get to them. We stayed in a 2-bedroom cabin, which offered plenty of room for the 4 of us. Beautiful lake. Cabins are quaint, certainly not luxury, but that was okay with us.
