My daughter and I popped in for a snack and caffeine fix . Situated in an old school building I would have driven past without realising it was there . Coffee was great and the Brussel sprouts were amazing . Great atmosphere and friendly staff , can sit outside as well , weather permitting !

A friend recommended I check out “...this cool place in an old school that’s been converted into a couple restaurants.” To be fair, Ivywild School is more than a couple restaurants—it’s a meeting place, a place to shop, and a place to enjoy...even though you’re back at school. And the Principal’s Office (P.O.) is definitely a place to enjoy, whether your eating or drinking.

I didn’t dine, but I did enjoy the hand-crafted Local Coffee brew (roasted on Ivywild’s first floor...so cool!), as well as the ambiance. The P.O. is raw metal and brick and wood; perfect setting for the Troubled. And I gotta say, sitting in the bar area, it’s a place to take in the work of true professionals (behind the bar). They’re more than bartenders at the P.O., they’re Baristamixologists. Is that a thing? It is at the P.O.

Check it out!

Fun place to excellent people watching and fabulous, original drinks with bartenders who know what they are doing. Happy hour is a great deal, too! Cocktails almost half price; $2 off beer and wine; apps too.

I continue to believe this is the best Moscow Mule around! Made with Bristol's own ginger beer, it has the perfect amount of bite for me. Not too sweet. The bartenders are friendly, the service is prompt, and the venue is enjoyable! During warmer months, the patio is quite lovely. You can get food from the kitchen, and baked goods that you will be jonesing for again and again. One of my go-to spots.

Interesting surroundings, a clever idea, but food just okay, rather expensive for the portions and standing in line to order and then busing my own table is not a plus. We had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and a Cuban sandwich with fries. The sandwiches were really greasy and the bread was not warm or toasted so this was not an authentic Cuban sandwich. The fries were hot and crispy but not a large portion. The slaw was rather sweet and had some kinds of seeds (maybe cumin) in it that left an after taste. The menu for drinks and coffee is extensive so maybe the place would be better for Happy Hour. I would not return.
