We had a great experience with our family (two sons ages 12 and 14) this evening for dinner. We ordered a variety of meal choices: shoryu ramen, yakisoba with chicken, cross-cut short ribs (like Korean kalbi), teriyaki salmon, and one of their rolls from the sushi bar. The roll (called a buffalo roll) came out very beautifully arranged, almost too pretty to eat! But we did eat it and it was delicious.
For the dinner entrees, you can "bento-box" it for an additional $5. It's a huge upgrade! In addition to the salad and miso soup you would already receive w/ the entree, the bento upgrade adds in two tempura shrimp, several pieces of tempura vegetables (sweet potato, broccoli, eggplant, and onion), two fried gyoza, 3 slices of tuna roll, and 4 slices of California roll.
Since we had already filled up on salad, soup, and the buffalo roll by the time the bento dinners came out, we easily had too much food. It was delicious and beautifully presented.
Service was very good, our waitress made such an effort to clear dishes as soon as we were finished, including trash items such as chopsticks wrappers.
We live right up the street from this restaurant and are looking forward to returning.
