Description: Montague’s Parlour Capulets Inc. (Sloane, Patty, John Paul, & Greg) The Capulets assumed the helm of Montague’s Parlour the 29th day of August in the year of 2017. After a long and successful twenty-two year reign, Jeff and Dave have succeeded the proprietorship to the Capulets, who have agreed to guide Montague’s through the next several decades. We aim to keep the unique persona of Montague’s while enhancing the interior and exterior. All those favorite pastries, cakes, and other food items will remain to be enjoyed with your favorite tea, coffee, or drink of choice. After the initial transition, we plan to add some additional healthy choices, more gluten free options, and some specialty drinks plus distinctive menu items on a limited basis. In the long tradition of Montague’s, we will still host those holiday events and tea parties. We welcome your friends and family as well as those out there looking for something a little different and off the beaten path.

Love this place! Super comfortable chairs and classy decor make a great atmosphere. Wifi was solid. Latte was as good as any I've tasted. Cinnamon crumb cake was yummy! Friendly staff. Easy parking in back. I will be back to try a meal soon!.

Way south on Tejon - almost to the Interstate (I-25), there's a quaint & cozy little spot for tea, lattes, sandwiches, pastries & cakes called Montague's. Once upon a time, it was tucked into an antique mall off of Colorado Blvd. near downtown Colo. Spgs. We loved it there, and we still love this place - over 20 years later after they moved to the south end of town. Lots of over-stuffed, high-backed chairs to sink into while enjoying a sandwich or pastry.

For our recent lunch, I had chicken salad on a croissant and their signature pumpkin-tomato soup (almost a bisque). My wife & her brother had the turkey & avocado on croissant sandwiches with gazpacho (since it was Summer). To top it off, we shared a huge slice of coconut cake. (The slices of cake are gigantic - easily enough for two people.) Though this restaurant has changed hands recently, it was just as delightful as we remember it. Superb choice to share with out-of-town guests (and a must at all other times when you are in the neighborhood).

This is our favorite Tea Place in Colorado, we just wish it was closer to Longmont. We have been coming here for years, and always leave Happy. We happened to come in when they had free Coconut Cake to celebrate new owners. We only hope they do not think they should change things to improve it, especially in the food and Tea area. We come here whenever we are in the area simply because they have not changed this wonderful place, the great food and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit anytime you are in Colorado Springs. The Baked goods, especially the cakes are the best we have found in the area. YUMMM!

We absolutely love Montague's and go there about once a month. Sometimes we share a sandwich and a bowl of soup to save room for their delicious desserts. We usually order the same thing because it is just so good: a pot of Mango Ceylon tea, a turkey orchard sandwich and a bowl of tomato pumpkin soup. For dessert the coffee cake and chocolate cake are wonderful. They give you generous slices that can be easily shared. You actually feel like you are sitting in your grandma's parlor, with comfortable chairs and old fashioned tables. You order at a counter and they bring your food to you. Staff are always pleasant and you never feel rushed to eat. You can linger as long as you like; talking, reading, or doing homework.

From the moment we opened the door for lunch I felt as though I had walked into the home of a relative. Built-in bookshelves with one-of-a-kind china pieces for sale adorned the walls and a plethora of baked goods (some gluten-free) lined the wooden bar top where customers place their orders. While waiting for our meal to be prepped, we chose our seating from several available overstuffed chairs (that really needed restuffing). The food was good and reasonably priced. I would love to return during the winter in order to experience the warmth of a fire in the large fireplace. Will be sure to tell my friends about this Colorado Springs gem.
