Nice people, clean property in a featureless part of town. Manager's buffet with free drinks as well as cookies at registration are a good effort.

Hotel has lost its luster. Nothing worthwhile within walking distance.

Suspect there are better values in this part of Colorado Springs.

We're sorry to hear that we did not exceed your expectations from your recent stay with us. We do understand our hotel has lost some of its luster, which is why our new ownership will be completing a renovation within the year. Starting in November GF Management will start a whole new facelift for the property, and once complete will surly exceed all of our guest expectations. Room was not cleaned properly,not vacuumed well, hair in tub, no refrigerator or microwave, very pricey for what you get. Hotel has gone down in quality. The breakfast buffet was very good, but expensive.

Unclean rooms are not typical at our hotel, and we appreciate that you brought this to our attention so we could help make it right. The staff was great to me and my family, but the quality of the bed and bedding made it hard to get a good nights sleep.
I would think with the price of the rooms the beds being more comfortable would be a priority.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. We recently replaced all of the beds in our rooms with 2 Queen Beds. We plan to change out all of the King beds when we complete our renovation that starts in November. I had high hopes and was disappointed. The buffet breakfast left us wanting more. The pool was cloudy and closed for a period of time and is tricky to find with only one elevator accessing the area. I will say getting the foam pillows was nice - I am not a fan of flat feather pillows.

Stayed here with my mom for one night while we were in town to visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Front desk staff was professional but friendly, and the staff in the restaurant was excellent. This is a HUGE hotel, and we didn't realize how far from the main entrance our rooms were, so it was a bit of a walk to get to our rooms from the front desk. The rooms are really modern and I enjoy the decor; my only complaint is regarding cleanliness: one of my pillowcases had something on it, and both of our rooms had black hairs on the walls of the showers. However, we still very much enjoyed this hotel. An extra bonus for anyone staying in the future: I guess this hotel picks a "guest of the day" and we were picked! Though we didn't know about it until we got home and opened the envelope (we thought it was a receipt) that's still a very nice touch and makes us feel like the staff cares. Thank you! We will be staying here again.
