As a non-profit government-funded entity, it can be very difficult to book group meals at restaurants. We have a lot of restrictions on when and how we can pay for something. We're not allowed to pay deposits, since no services have been rendered. We can't use our business credit cards outside of our state. We're tax exempt. The red tape is omnipresent.

Not only did Gene help us navigate these issues on his end, he was very understanding of our needs and seemed genuinely excited to have our business. It was a breath of fresh air considering how complicated and difficult the process can get.

Beyond the excellent service we were given in advance, we received amazing service at dinner as well. The food was wonderful! Our guests, who can at times be picky, were very pleased. I couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely recommend 1515.

It’s a local place, owners are there checking on service and quality of food. Service is excellent!!!!!! If you love wine this is the place for you. We ordered catch of the day and cherries for deserts... OMG!!! It’s delicious

This place was recommended to us and we had high expectations, however it didn't quite meet them.

The atmosphere (we sat upstairs) was classy and interesting in a very historic building, also with great lighting. The background music was classic rock, which we love but seemed out of place in this establishment. The service was prompt but there were too many visits from multiple people asking how things were or what we needed -- too many interruptions. Our server was friendly but pretentious and used such technical culinary language that at times it was difficult to understand what he was saying.

The food was only average. The Filet was overcooked and was not very flavorful. The Elk was also overcooked. There were some execution issues with side dishes which took a long time to rectify, especially given the light crowd the night we visited. There is a huge wine selection.

Group of just 3 and the place was quite empty. Had a good style to their decor and decent ambiance. Food was ok but not great and wine selection is ok as well. Service was excellent but perhaps won't repeat

This pleasant restaurant had seating on the second floor, which was well spaced for intimate conversation and low noise level. The service staff was very accommodating and attentive. The cuisine was varied and interesting, and our meal was unhurried.
