Before we went and saw the Rockies play, we stopped off for a couple of sandwiches. We got one goat cheese and one Italian. Everything was amazing and fresh.

I was really impressed by the freshness and cleanliness of this place. I usually never ever eat from salad bar but it was spotless and it was so fresh every single item there. Great location walking distance to convention center. I did not think it was pricey and even if it was I would have been fine with it, the quality of the food was well worth it. Keep up the great work.

This could have been a four-star, possibly even a five-star, rated experience if it weren't for the idiotic choice management allowed with how utensils are stowed in dispensers at this eatery. The human hand is one of the filthiest things, ever, and as a general rule, anyone who cares about not becoming very ill should avoid touching their food, or things that touch their food (for example, utensils), with their hands. However, the ignoramuses running this place never got that memo. Whichever employee was allowed to stock the utensil dispensers arranged the utensils in the bins with the business ends sticking out. So, for example, the forks face tines-end out. The knives face blades-end out. And the bins/drawers are so tightly wedged into the cubbies they protrude from (drawer-style) that it is not really possible to arc your hand up and over the business end of the utensil and grab it from the handle. So the diner has two filthy choices at Cook's Fresh Market: eat with your hands or eat with utensils you touched your (filthy) hands onto the eating surface of.

The other negatives of this place were trivial in comparison with the grossly negligent mismanagement of the utensils, so I will deal with the positives, only, from here on out.

+ Of the grilled broccoli crowns I was able to harvest from the mostly singed and charred batch at the salad bar, they were delicious.

+ The selections available at the salad bar were quite extensive, seemed fresh, and were greatly appreciated for being right there in the middle of downtown. Every ingredient of my salad was very tasty.

+ There was a nice selection of drinks, some even in glass bottles, which I always appreciate.

+ The cashier was very friendly as well as efficient.

+ The receipt divulges the code to unlock/enter their restroom, which I thought was a clever method for ensuring just access for paying customers, but only paying customers.

+ Their prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. Two of us ate and drank for less than $20.

On balance, it was a positive experience. I would eat there again, but would know to go to the hassle of toting in my own utensils.

Wide range of food options prepackaged or prepared to order, hot or cold sandwiches, salads, fresh fruits and vegetables. One can eat there or take it elsewhere.

This place sounded great on the outside but the food that I ordered for lunch was average, expensive, and took forever. I was disappointed to say the least.
