If you visit Eagle you’ll encounter many traffics circles in a small stretch of road. Just off the first traffic circle south of 1-70 lies the Eagle Dinner. It has a traditional look with traditional food and friendly staff.
While perusing the menu one of the cooks stopped by and asked if we had questions. I was torn between the tune melt and a ham and cheese sandwich. He hardly recommended the tuna melt. It was good.
Stop buy when traveling west from Denver. Swing by the visitor center right around the corner after you eat.
