This place is beautiful! They offer multiple lounge chairs, picnic tables, & grills along the creek. The cabin itself is very cozy. If you need a weekend to relax, I'd highly recommend this place. It's so peaceful. I'd recommend waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee/hot tea right along the river!
This is an amazing place just 30 minutes from downtown Denver that is right up against the mountain with an amazing creek running right in front of the cabin. The cabin has a full kitchen and huge stone wood-burning fireplace with a large patio and outside sitting areas and BBQ grills. It is located just 1 mile east of the amazing downtown Evergreen that is at 7,200 feet above sea level in the Rocky Mountains. Amazing!
The cabin was pretty run down, but I wouldn't call it horrible. Check in process was weird since they don't exactly have an accessible front office after 5pm, rather a phone that didn't work when we were there, and a number we called with our cell phones. Kind of bizarre but whatever. The views were incredible of the creek and such. The cabin itself just didn't really have anything nice about it and we could hear the neighbors the entire time, since they are duplex units. Overall, it was just "OK".
What a great weekend to stay at Bear Creek Cabin in-between selling and buying a home. Was relaxing and quiet, clean and beautiful. Can't wait to visit again.
