The Colorado Hotel is like a little dream oasis. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. We even brought our dog and it was by far the best pet friendly hotel experience we have had yet! The hotel is a great deal too for all that you get. The veranda and the bar are incredible.

Love all the history and the fact that they try to preserve that historical aspect. However, the check-in process was surprisingly long, only one person at the counter, answering phones and trying to check-in a line. Then after about twenty minutes of waiting, another person came out from an office and started helping. They were friendly and professional but slow to help customers. The room is nice, bed feels good, pillows are a disappointment. Not much will disappoint here though. Still recommend completely.

I stopped by and had a drink. After reading all the reviews I had to stop and see the place. Such a nice hotel with so much potential has been ran down over the years. Hopefull, the new owners will fix it up . Animal in hotels aren’t my gig. However, hopefully if they continue to do this they will put animals on one floor. I did hear barking. The bartender was very nice and the drink she made was good. Very neat place needs lots of TLC and then I would stay

Just stayed 3 nights. Location, location, location. Historic. Comfortable beds. We requested air conditioning. Not all rooms have ac. A little dated but very nice. The raft/bike rental office is on the corner of the building. Parking was scarce but always found a space. You can walk to the pool or spa or downtown. Good service.

Room Tip: Request ac!

Kaylin at the front desk was Awsome ! She gave us above and beyond customer service ! The hotel is lovely with a lot of history and a great restaurant and coffee shop available . The best of old world and new. We will defiantly come again !

Room Tip: Next time we will upgrade to an ambassador room!
