I would recommend this hotel due to its friendly personnel, its clean and beautifully furnished rooms, its delicious breakfast (although not free), and it location. It is located outside the downtown area of Glenwood Springs which is what my husband and I were looking for. We found plenty of eating options at a near-by mall and its not so far away if you want the downtown scene.

Same style as elsewhere, beds firm, service a bit above average, lots of room on 1st floor devoted to bar and snack shop. Large gas fireplace, clean pool area, clean outside the bldg. Everything is ala carte, after a while that adds up, best to avoid.
Frankly I thought your review of our hotel was a positive one based on the fact that we are consistent with our Courtyard brand. We consistently enjoy very positive reviews from our guests and am sorry that our brand did not totally meet your expectations with regard to cost. Having said that I do appreciate your time in writing a review and hope that when your travels return you to Glenwood Springs you will give us another chance.
In full transparency, I'm a marriott platinum member. I think I had an upgraded room. I will say it was probably the nicest courtyard I've stayed at. I think it's a bit out of city center but it's not a big town. Room was great, staff super friendly. Bistro usual goodness. Wifi reliable. Note to corporate, please consider opening up breakfast to platinum members - it's about time.

Very clean... the beds were very comfortable. Even the pillows were nice! (I took my own just in case) For a good nights sleep stay here. It is not really walking distance to town, but a really quick ride gets you there.

Title says it all. Reasonable price and good service. Rooms are decent and clean. It's a better option than some of the older hotels in town that haven't been upgraded in forever. It's close to some big box stores and about a mile and a half from town
