Spent the day at Glenwood Resort today! We were there a year ago while the restaurant and patio were being built. Wow! What a great addition. The patio overlooks the zip line and all the fun rope climbing and high challenges and, of course the high flowing Colorado River. The staff and service was awesome! Thanks to Jeremiah, Julie, Joey and Madison our four kids and I had nothing but fun and laughter while conducting our adventure. We had a great lunch on the deck and my ahi tuna skewers were delicious along with the kids enjoying their foot long Nathan hot dogs. Because of the river being at record high we also decided to take a rafting trip. Thanks Jared&Jason

You can't beat the views. The first 2 nights we were in the bottom campsites over Memorial Day weekend, and the river kept rising. On Monday as everyone else was checking out, we asked about moving to higher ground and they said "no problem". The view up there and the wi-fi were much better. The wind died down on Wed, before we left, but we had a great time. The grill was fun and the musician was fun too. Checked out the premium suite's behind the grill too, they are gorgeous. Stayed one night on the way back to Cali on June 5 as well, Our family is into trains, so the trains didn't bother us at all. The staff was very friendly. Glenwood Springs, is the cutest little town and Aspen and Vail are less than an hour drive away.

Very nice calm (1,2 &3) raft trip. Great for a family with (10+ age) children. Staff was very accomodating and friendly.
Zipline Wow.... wish that we would have booked the rope course too.
Serious fun!

Stayed in one of the camper cabins. Basically a little wood shed with two windows, a double bed and a set of bunk beds, and a light bulb - nothing else. The beds were hard - like sleeping on the floor. No outlets to plug in chargers-had to go to the game room to charge anything. Where the camp cabins are there are not enough grills, picnic tables for the 8 cabins that are there. There is also only one campfire pt for all 8 cabins - this leads to it getting very loud around the campfire... well after quiet hours. The cabins are also close to I-70 - you could hear the cars/semis at night.

They have a new bar up on the deck... this was nice. They had live music on Sat and Sun night. Although the drinks and appetizers are pricey ($9+ for 7 wings & $5 for a draft beer).

The "store" didn't have much in it until Sunday - how can you not be prepared for Memorial Weekend?

Pros: Setting is nice. They have a ropes course, zip line, and rafting on site.

Cons: Pricey. Noisy.

We just go back from our 3rd stay at Glenwood Canyon Resort, we love the lcoation in the canyon and walking along the river. The new Bar/Grill is a great addition and has excellent food!! Looking forward to trying the zipline and ropes course next year when our son is old enough to do them. Clean and great service!
