It is located right off of I-70 and is within walking distance to local restaurants and the Glenwood Hot Springs.
It is old but clean. They provide breakfast, and the staff is very helpful.
It has ample parking. I would stay there again.

We used the silver Spruce Motel as a base camp to explore as far west as Palisade and as far south as Redstone. Breakfast is above average and the rooms are very clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

As far as motels go, this one is quite good. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for a nice time.

This is our favorite hotel to stay in Glenwood Springs. It's impeccably clean, has free WI-FI and is affordable. It is within walking distance of the hot springs and has a nice breakfast with waffles, hard boiled eggs, coffee cake, and biscuits and gravy. We stay here at least once a year, twice if we are lucky enough to visit Glenwood more than once per year. We highly recommend the Silver Spruce.

Me and my Fiancee showed up after dark to find a very helpful hotel attendent whom I believe goes by the name Audrey awaiting our arrival. Without any prompting by us she had upgraded our room from a jr suite to a queen honeymoon suite. I had made a comment that it was really nice of her and kind of funny since we had just got engaged days prior. Right away she decided the queen honeymoon suite (although a fantastic room) just wasnt good enough and upgraded us to the king honeymoon suite with a jetted tub and a gas fireplace. Truly stellar service and customer service. I will definitely be coming back and have already told my friends and family who plan on staying here about this location. Thank you Silver Spruce.
P.S. Dont let the name silver fool you its got more of a Gold feeling to it.

A mixed review, just like the decor.... from the outside you get the feeling of a Swiss Chalet, but the rooms are a mixed bag, Victorian, modern, rustic...???
While the room did have new carpet, wall covering, sofa & chair and quilt on the bed...everything else was a miss. Dated furniture with missing pulls, broken & damaged appliances, a mismatch of lighting fixtures... just to name a few.
The "Honeymoon Suite" was in need of a deep clean and some attention to detail.
This place has tons of potential! Hire a decorator, get housekeeping some training & de-clutter the lobby (it's a business not your living room).
