In our room: dirty shower, broken dresser drawers, broken deadbolt, heavily stained carpet, broken tv remote and high pitch sequel when using hot water. Owners need to invest in upgrading, regular maintenance and cleaning. Poor even for a discount hotel.

Small red bites appeared after first night at Silver Spruce. I don't care what the owners say,in my view the bites came from the Motel room...I saw a number of small insects around the window and air conditioning unit.

Rooms were large but scruffy , uncared for and broken down.

Breakfast was almost Ok but again the large room looked uncared for.

Overall , although location meant that centre was walkable, there are a number of other Motels close by which I wish I had booked instead.

Silver Spruce Inn was very reasonably priced. It is apparent they are upgrading with new carpet and new mattresses. The people were all very gracious and helpful. It is certainly an older facility but clean and in good condition. It is certainly in a great location.

After a late night drive into Glenwood Springs from Denver International Airport.... What an amazing find! The management, I believe her name was Tara , was very helpful in directing us to a fantastic room with a bed Fit For A King! She directed us to some of the local Hot Springs and local attractions and eateries. Will definitely save this as a repeat location for a quick getaway or a long-term stay with friends.

Our room was big, bright, clean and quiet. The beds were very good. Fridge in the room was nice. The management was friendly and helpful regarding local eateries, and the morning breakfast buffet was fine, although a little unimaginative. We have two dogs and NO PET FEE! There was a small walking area available on the backside of the motel, better than many we have been to. No bogus old, stained and dirty room given to pet owners either!
We were very pleased with this hotel and would stay there again in a minute!
