1 review We had the most fabulous stay in this adorable cottage which comfortable and spotless. We were even greeted with snacks in the refrigerator! Lucky us to have been staying there with our family and our now daughter-in-law's family for our son's/daughter-in-law's wedding weekend. Hillside is absolutely a hidden jewel. The views are amazing and the grounds were so well maintained. Thank you for a beautiful stay.
1 review My husband and I went to see this little amazing town. Usually our lodging is just a place to sleep but this was a place we could spend time together. Clean room with a very kind staff and beautiful grounds. Everything was ready for us when we got there which made our lives much easier. We are already planning our next trip.
1 review We booked this cottage for our 23rd wedding anniversary and quickly became enamored with the entire setting. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with local people at the post office. We hope to be moving to the Westcliffe area in March and this was a perfect location for exploring the area. Thank you, Chris and Tara for saving and renovating this part of Colorado history for many to enjoy.

Certainly a unique setting and facility. Everything we expected and more. Fantastic use of space and everything necessary is included. Immerse yourself in remote Colorado at Hillside. Well designed, constructed, managed and maintained. Worth every penny.
1 review This property exceeded our expectations! We fell in love with this valley! daytime views were gorgeous, and as a dark sky designated area, good night views were just spectacular. The cottage was sparkling clean and included many thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, pink fluffy towels, and quality bedding. Of all the places we stayed on our trip, this bed was the best! The location is ideal for touring the many beautiful parks and mountain passes. You won’t be disappointed!

What an awesome place to go to get away The location is about 12 miles from Westcliffe and such a quiet, peaceful place. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and a great place to relax. The views from the cabin and the chair outside by the porch were awesome. It's amazing how much we miss in the city, I heard birds chirping, the wind in the trees, and so much more. Morning coffee outside was spent watching the deer as they came on the property to pick apples from the tree. I highly recommend this as a place for an awesome getaway with family and/or friends.
