This past Spring Break 2016, my wife and I, along with our four children visited Colorado. We decided to save money and stay away from the busy ski resorts, yet close enough to make our snow skiing and sledding dreams possible. This cozy, yet spacious home away from home gave us everything that we were searching for and more. Since we have a large family, we needed a place that was affordable, yet safe and comfortable. This was definitely that place. Additionally, due to having a large family, we typically don't eat out as much, so having a home was ideal for us. It allowed us to save on meals while still being able to enjoy a relaxing get away. Every room, from the kitchen/dining room, to the living room, family room, to each of the bedrooms, and bathrooms was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully furnished. The additional amenities like HDTV, Cable, Wi-Fi, spacious car garage, and patio overlooking the Boulder Flat Irons made this a perfect vacation home for us. The location of the home was ideal as Lafayette has many small town shops, grocery stores, and local restaurants to choose from. It's only 10 miles from Boulder and half an hour to the nearest ski resort, Eldora Mountain. Lafayette is also close enough to Estes Park, which makes it an easy day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. I definitely recommend this home for families who are wanting to experience everything Colorado has to offer.
