Telluride is full of plain old average but expensive restaurants with iffy service and food quality. Honga's gets good marks from us for being good in all categories.

The sushi, nigiri, and sushimi is average. Nothing to get too excited about, the rolls that are really good are just too expensive. Six of us shared many dishes. Anything Thai is not authentic Thai, so go to Siam for that (and those who think it tastes Thai do not eat Real Thai food enough). Mojitos are great, kudos to the bartenders making unique ones. A great selection of sakes, too. It takes a while to get service started, but once started goes quick. Beautiful place, great for friends and cocktail parties or dates.

There is not a finer mojito made in the world. Food is great, except if you are like me and avoid spicy stuff, be careful what you order. Get there early, it fills up rapidly, unless you have a reservation. Downstairs is where we ate and the bar is the original one from the 1880's.

All six of us enjoyed dinner...and several are very picky. Accommodates vegetarians and vegans well. Lovely interior .... larger and more interesting than you'd expect. Great service, delicious lime mojito's and fabulous birthday dessert for one of our guests.

This was recommended by a friend of ours. The food was very good and fresh, the service although was not good at all. We were seated and it was over 10 min before anyone approached us. We finally had to ask for service the cocktail was very good I had the mojito and I must say it was one of the best I had. It was within walking distance from our room so all in all it was good.
