Be sure to have a car with high clearance. This is a wonderful place to take the family! Easy (6 mile round trip) hike to a water fall. Lots of activities on site. You can rent canoes, SUP boards, horses... There is even a place to eat. Highly recommend making the trek.

Visited 25 years ago but this time it had quite the physical change. A restaurant, cabins, bathrooms, gift shop, a place to have a party, etc. There were going to be 4 weddings there that night. They must have had spectacular views! Hubby and I did the canoeing on the lake while our daughter did her own paddle boarding. So much fun. The entire staff (gift shop, canoes, and restaurant) were all helpful and happy. We did not do the 3 mile one way water falls hike but probably will next time. We were told the hike was mostly flat and worth it. We will definitely go back a 3rd time!

We enjoyed the canoeing and paddle boarding. The staff was very helpful and informative. We also ate lunch at the restaurant there. It was very good and offered a lot of variety. The only drawback is the bumpy, dusty road to get there, but it really is worth it.

Not an easy drive on a dirt road for about 10 miles but go ahead and make the effort. The setting is very picturesque and it must be sensational when the mountains are reflected in the small lake but there was too much wind on the day we visited. Good for children of a certain age plus hikers , campers and people enjoying outdoor activities. We saw a moose standing in the river on the drive down and enjoyed a really nice meal sitting outside on the deck. Business must be good because they are putting up another wooden cabin next to the main cabin there. Friendly staff all in all a good day out.!!
