Description: Just across the Covered Bridge in Vail Village is Bridge Street's warm, cozy and oldest steak house - Russell's. We have a friendly, relaxing atmosphere with wonderful Creekside dining. Russell's features dry aged Certified Angus beef, along with delightful fish entrees and world-renowned Alaskan King Crab Legs. One side dish that you can't pass up is our scalloped potatoes - baked with onions, bacon and cheese with a golden brown top. A lot of our staff members have been with us for 20 years or more. Come by and see for yourself why the locals and staff love Russell's. We take great pride in serving premier steaks and seafood in the most enjoyable and accommodating restaurant in Vail. Reservations recommended.

My non-foodie husband insists that we dine at Russell's every year. I don't care for steakhouses and I don't like to go to many repeat restaurants. But I concede on this point every year without complaint. You will always get the same dependable steakhouse menu, excellent service and a low key, relaxing atmosphere. I love that it's not pretentious (a nice break from most other Vail restaurants) and I always love their outstanding customer service. It's a Vail restaurant worth your loyalty.

It is a tradition of ours to dine at Russel's every year when we ski at Vail. The food is excellent and the quality of meat is unwavering year after year! We always dine in the "bar/creek side", where the atmosphere is fabulous. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving a steak dinner!

Per the hostess the menu hasn’t changed in 30 years...... I understand why - it’s classic staples and cooked to perfection. Fantastic service and great atmosphere!

The crab and steak are a dynamic duo. A seat by the window is great people watching or river watching while enjoying a fantastic meal. Wonderful wine list and great service.

Party of 8 dined during Christmas week, including 1 vegetarian and 1 pescatarian. Hard to believe there wad not a single vegetarian option on the menu, but even more difficult to accept the chef/restaurant wouldn’t make something. How hard is it make some basic vegetarian pasta or potato based dish. Vail is an international destination with many vegetarians from around the World. While 7 of 8 in the party were fine with the menu, it’s inconceivable they wouldn’t accommodate a vegetarian (not even a Vegan, just vegetarian). In addition, our waitress was ill informed on the menu and proved indifferent tour dietary needs. We have dined at high-end steak houses and restaurants around the World, and have never experienced such inconsiderate dietary accommodations. We vacation at Vail regularly, and will never go back to Russell’s. The rest of our meals were OK, nothing special, very pricey (even by Vail standards).
