This is a well located comfortable hotel in Vail. The apartment we took was well fitted out. We take the 5:00pm hotel shuttle to the supermarket and get food for the week and cook ourselves but there are many restaurants nearby

Thank you for the feedback. It's great to hear the accommodations worked out great and you were able to take advantage of our nightly complimentary shuttle service to the grocery store and used the fully appointed kitchens in our condominiums. It's a great way to enjoy Vail and not have to eat out every night. Thank you again for staying with us.

Great service, amazing room, stunning views. My girlfriend and I came here for a weekend getaway for my birthday. The experience was great from beginning to end. Our room was on the ground floor and allowed us to walk out the door and just a few steps to the hot tub. This was great after a long day of skiing, which was also just steps away. This is the perfect hotel for ski in/out privileges in Vail. It’s the perfect distance to all the shops and restaurants around the village center. I recommend it highly. The restaurant on site is also very good.

Thank you for the nice response and for staying with us on your January ski trip. Our South is very popular and close to all of the amenities on property, including the pool area and restaurant and just steps away from the gondola. El Sabor is a terrific restaurant with the best happy hour, margaritas and Mexican food in Vail. Lion Square is located in the ski yard and right next to Lionshead village. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you on your next ski trip!

A group of 7 of us were able to stay at these condos and it was awesome! We got there a little early around 1 pm and called to see if we could have early checkin and they were able to get our condo ready within an hour. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Checkin was super easy and they let us have two complimentary parking passes since we came in two cars. Normally parking in the neighboring garage is $50 per night. The condo was well appointed with everything available to cook if you desired in the kitchen. Two full size beds in the loft with a bunk bed in the 2nd floor bedroom and a queen in the main floor master and 2 full baths. The beds were comfy and there were multiple balconies to hang out and grab fresh air. Also the fireplace made the condo nice a cozy. When we woke up, we were pleasantly surprised to walk out and the Eagle Bahn gondola was within walking distance. It is so convenient especially if you're a skier with ski boots. We had a full day of skiing/snowboarding and then we find out another nice surprise in that they had a ski valet service to drop off and pick up your skis/board in the morning. They had two heated hot tubs and a heated pool that we used every day after a full day of skiing. They were very spacious and hot so we didn't feel cold at all while we were in them. They also had fresh coffee and hot chocolate during most times of the day and night plus sometimes some warm fresh baked chocolate chip cookies which were yummy! All in all a really nice place to stay for the money. It was the heart of ski season and we picked the perfect place to stay and have a good time.

Hello depazed,

Thank you for taking the time to give us some great feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I'm excited to hear it was an "awesome" experience and our staff was friendly and helpful during your trip to Vail. As you mentioned, our condos all have gas fireplaces and our location is right next to the Lionshead Gondola with great amenities on property, including our incredible pool/hot tub area and professional 24-hour guest services team. Thank you again for staying with us and we look forward to your next trip to Vail.

We have been going to Vail for a water conference for over 30 years. We have mostly stayed at Lion Square Lodge in the 2 or 3 bedroom condo rooms and always found the lodge clean and well maintained. Over the last 10 years it and the surrounding area has gone through many upgrades. The condos and exterior of the building have been upgraded and it is even more beautiful. Its location as a ski in ski out adjacent to the Gondola could not be better. We stay in room 105 directly next to the Gondola and with a mountain view from the deck. But what impressed me the most this year and led to the need for this review was the customer service shown by the staff starting with the Guest Services Manager Andrew Mumaugh who adjust to all our needs even a change of rooms midway through the stay. He offered service and was always upbeat and positive. He looked for ways to make us more comfortable and to feel welcomed and appreciated. The other staff followed suit helping us with skis, returning our rental equipment, take us to dinner and even shovel our car out of the snow. They really went above and beyond for us. Stay here knowing you will be welcomed and served. Thank you Andrew!

Room Tip: If you want the most convenient room for skiing, ask for the ski in ski out condo next to the gondola.

Thank you Mr. Manson for your nice review and for staying at Lion Square Lodge again for your conference. We very much appreciate the continued patronage. I'm thrilled to hear you and your group had another positive experience with us and your unit and our staff met your expectations. Andrew does a fabulous job of leading our guest services team and taking care of our guests and owners needs. As you mentioned, we're located right next to the gondola and our guests can ski right to our ski valet station where your skis are stored overnight and ready for the next morning. Thank you again for your business and we look forward to your 2019 water conference in Vail.

Our 3rd visit in 5 years, great in every aspect:

Service - excellent and professional all around. Andrew, Jack and Brian (?? tall, dark haired young man with beard, helped with car and luggage) were all great, super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was very efficient. Folks at Charter Sports were very nice too.

Rooms: we stayed in the south building in a 1br suite, which was perfect for our family of 4. The extra full bath was super, makes such a difference! The main tv wasn’t great and all the colors were off despite us trying to fix it but we only watched playoff football so it really wasn’t a big deal. The fireplace was great too and the mountain view out back was very pretty. Full kitchen was nicely appointed and very convenient.

Location cannot be beat. Steps to the gondola and Lionsquare Village, a quick shuttle to Vail Village. Lots of shops and places to eat (The Little Diner is a must for breakfast).

With respect to Vail standards I would say this is a mid- range resort with 5-star service. Kudos Lionsquare Lodge!
