“Sub Par NE Clam Chowder but good Ceviche and GR8 extensive Seafood menu!”

We went for dinner with our daughter & husband last nite. The clam chowder was tasteless! It seemed like a broth thickened w too much flour & no milk creaminess. The fresh ceviche however was delicious as was the conch chowder. Both were vey fresh and with great flavor.

I had fish and chips- a beer battered pan-fried fish, not deep fried, it was really GR8 and the whale 🐳 chips were crispy fried thinly sliced potatoes. A healthy alternative to deep fried fish & French fries. The portions of fish were somewhat skimpy and not in line with regular restaurant fare but very tasty!

The swordfish lettuce wraps had generous fish portions served with a delicious remoulade sauce.
I would definitely return again. The restaurant was busy for dinner and the menu was quite extensive. The decorations were all nautical themed throughout; well maintained and clean. Handicap accessible.

We were looking for a new place to try and found this place. Fantastic sea food and service. We were there for happy hour and it was well worth it!

I was really hopeful considering all the good reviews but, not today. I ordered the ($19) Lobster Roll and my husband ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. My eyes and my stomach got very excited but I thought my taste buds must have died on the way over. The glistening chunks of lobster with just the right amount of mayo looked so good! There was basically no taste, almost as if it was frozen for a long time and then "washed" (a faint, watery, slightly chlorine/bleach-like taste). The texture was good though, it was confusing. There was zero fish taste but an hour later my fingers smelled like they had been dipped in castor oil. My husband said his sandwich was "good" but that was about all. To top it off, I bit into at least 2 chunks of lobster shell and 1 piece of shell I could not "find" before I swallowed. When I brought it to the waitress's attention she seemed totally incredulous, like that NEVER happens. If she brought it to a manager's attention there was no indication, nobody seemed to give it a second thought. If I could offer a suggestion...they should serve $19 meals on a proper plate, not in a metal tin. It might have made the "sting" of the check a bit more palatable.
***Still searching for the best Lobster Roll in this landlocked state***
