The owner / chef is very nice and always has a welcome smile & has been in this spot for decades. The pizza is very good, even better than the slices are the Italian dishes prepared for sit down table service. They do not have a liquor license, so it's a BYOB establishment, still OK in Connecticut, and it's worth bringing your own wine if you want to have a bottle with dinner. The veal is excellent and the pasta is really nice with good in house sauces. This is a cash only establishment, there is an ATM on site, but be prepared as they don't accept credit or debit cards, about the only drawback.
