My family has been going to this motel every Thanksgiving for, well, decades. We are very attached to it. It provides basic accommodations plus a few pleasant surprises, and is owned by a lovely local family.
The rooms on the left side (the low-numbered rooms) are very large, with two queen beds. When the kids were young, we'd get all five of us into a room, sometimes with an extra cot. The beds are comfortable. The wifi is good and free. The TVs are flat screens. The bathrooms are clean and kept up to date. You adjust the heater/AC in your room as you like, although not all of them have thermostats so they'll pump out heat all night, which can make the room stuffy.
The motel is a block from the beginning of Clinton's main street, and a pleasant walk down to the shore.
There is no common room where a breakfast might be served, so you're on your own.
I should stress that this is an old-school motel. It's absolutely not fancy. It's functional and friendly and we very much like it.More
