We found this by chance while passing through town on a long trip, and it was a very good place for lunch. The food was very flavorful and fresh-tasting (we had Chinese lunch specials), the service was prompt and courteous, and the decor was very elegant. Definitely on our re-visit list.
Beautiful place, clean, attractive, white cloth tablecloths, cloth napkins and ice buckets. Service was pleasant and professional. I had Sesame Crispy Beef. I loved it! Very, very good! Meadow is a good reason to stay at the Farmington Inn which is starting to need a good reason.
Visited this nicely-appointed restaurant when the kids returned from college. We love Asian food and tried six different things. Five of the six were great! It's pricier than take-out and more costly than most Asian restaurants we frequent, but the food was noticeably better and the service was very good. Our apps were tasty and excellent: lettuce wraps, sesame calamari, and gyoza (dumplings). For entrees, also excellent was Thai Mango chicken: lots of flavor!! The Pad Si-Ew was also uniquely flavorful, but the consistency was a bit 'gloppy.' (this may be normal. was our first try.) The only disappointment was the "Imperial Couple," a shrimp and scallop dish; the shellfish seemed to be coated with a dry paste, rather than a Szechuan peppercorn sauce. All in all, the freshness and flavor of our food left us feeling that this was a special place. Will return to try more things on the menu!
This is a fairly new location for Meadow (1 year?) but we've been there at least six times, mostly for lunch as that's the best time price wise to eat. There lunch specials come with a choice between 2 soups (you can select a diff soup for more $), a choice of a spring roll or chicken leg/wing?, and the entree. The shrimp w/vegetables is good, as is the beef with onions, the orange beef and General Tsaos beef. My daughter likes Japanese cuisine so she gets the bento boxes, and the like. They also have some Thai choices. We don't choose beef at many Chinese restaurants because the cut is so inferior, but here that's not the case. Also they serve
