Nice breakfast choices-- we had breakfast burrito which included avocado and grills the tortilla so nicely. Other choices for breakfast and lunch were enticing. Good service, serve your own coffee and cash only. Prices are not low but suit the food you get. Very busy and popular spot- been in business a long time so you know they are reliable.

Thank Barbara G

Best breakfast in Mystic! Such a unique menu with specials everyday. You seat yourself and it's cash only but they have an ATM as well as self serve, bottomless coffee as you wait and while you eat as well as cups to go (included). Service is efficient and fast and you can sub, take out, and add stuff without a problem! We heard from a local it is VERY busy during the peak season so the wait time may be increased-WORTH IT!

Our family had breakfast at Somewhere in Time Sunday morning. Friendly and efficient service, interesting specials -- waffles with roasted pears, good coffee, retro decor. My criteria for a breakfast recommendation is: good coffee, fresh or bottled orange juice (not from concentrate or machine), maple syrup (available at an upcharge), and decent bread. Somewhere in Time met most of these. I had the Mazoo, an egg sandwich with carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, and fresh spinach on a ciabatta roll. Go early on Sunday as it gets crowded after 9:00. Remember to bring cash as they in the spirit of retro-ness, they don't take credit cards. (Onsite ATM).

I had the little breakfast with a side of bacon and my husband had the loaded omelet. Great coffee and sourdough toast. Reasonable prices - crowded but line moves fast.
