We stayed 3 days in room #5 in the Treadwell Annex and it was great. The room was a very nice size, the bed was great, bathroom very clean and nice. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting all the State parks in the area and New Milford has a lovely town center with great food and quaint shops.

Natasha, the manager, was the hostess with the mostess. She was A-MA-ZING.

Room tip: Great location

Homestead Inn is beautiful and clean with a terrific breakfast and Natasha is fantastic! We visited Housatonic River Outfitters for some fly fishing, which was our first time ever. We also did a quick hike to the summit of stone rock preserve and are checking out candlewood lake on our way out. All wihin 30 minutes of Homestead Inn!

Homestead Inn is a charming little Bed and Breakfast tucked away in a cozy corner of New England. The building itself is steeped in rich American history having been frequented by the Kennedys, Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller. Sitting one block off the center of town, all of the food and culture that New Milford has to offer is an easy walk from the front door. And you won't find a better staff, Natasha and company are profession, attentive and very personable. I cannot give them enough praise. I hope to visit again very soon!

I stay often at the Homestead Inn on business and I must say, compared to all places I stayed throughout the world, Homestead Inn is second to none.
We have a manufacturing facility nearby and our visiting guests are encouraged to overnight there due to Homestead’s unique bed and breakfast experience.
Inn Keeper Natasha Melichar always goes above and beyond to ensure every guest is pampered.
She is very personable and makes everyone feel completely comfortable and at home.
Homestead is located near the center of town
within walking distance to local art- antique stores, gourmet restaurants, gyms and a movie theater.
It’s an experience worth every penny.

Very quaint Inn. Very friendly staff and comfortable beds. Close to center of town
Rather cold outside but nice cozy rooms. Upon checking in was told they put extra blankets in the room. They thought of everything .
