Nice playground, soccer field, basketball and baseball. Large pond with waterfall. You can fish and, on rare occasions, ice skate.

This Newington park has something for everyone. There's a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, two playgrounds (one for young kids and one for big kids), and a beautiful path around the pond for those that want to walk or fish.

Your family will have a great experience at Mill Pond Park. One of the highlights of the park is a trickling waterfall, which actually is the smallest natural waterfall in the United States,

When you come bring bread to feed the ducks. Adorable. Little kids love this. There is a small waterfall there which is pretty.

Another fun place for the kids to and exercise to burn of that energy. The park also has two play scapes, basketball court, and a pool. You will also find a baseball field that is open for use when scheduled games aren't in session. Around the park you will also find a waking path the is used by runners, wakers, and the occasional fisher.

This park is located near the library and near main roads but you won't hear traffic when you are there. It has a gorgeous little waterfall that you will surely want a picture of. It's best when it has snowed or in other seasoons when it has been raining or there hasn't been a draught. Also there is a nice walk around a pond that is fishable and you will see ducks for sure. For the little toddlers there is a nice playground that has everything you'd expect or want for kids that age. If you are in town during the summer there is a great festival a couple weeks after the 4th with foreworks and alsoa pool, tennis courts, a baseball diamond with a huge field to play frisbee or something and also a basketball court. What else do you need for a few hours. I reccomend this park for people of any age to spend an afternoon in, especially in summer. But the photos in winter are fantastic.
