We had not been here since it was the old Confetti's Restaurant. Wow, what a remake. Nice pub area with an impressive selection of drafts, both local and large distribution craft beers. Nice large dining room, lively but quiet enough for conversation. Filet Mignon made picky hubby happy, chop salad is served atop warm flatbread. A menu with something for everyone, mild to wild. A new addition to the property is the Rebel Dog coffeehouse. Looks so nice, can't wait to try the coffee and breakfast.

We had been to the old Confetti's a few times in the past and this was our first visit since the relaunch as JVs Taproom. Confetti's was a semi formal restaurant that we liked a lot, nice inside, traditional menu with great food at reasonable prices. So I am confused about why they messed with a good thing.
Now its a boring pub menu with pizza, mostly sandwiches and a few dinner entrees. Two in our party had chicken sandwiches that they liked but the portion was lunch size not dinner size. One person had a burger that arrived charred and hard. We sent it back and they promptly fixed it. My lamb was excellent, 8 small chops with a tiny portion of very good roasted vegetables. Somebody is confused about portion size here and forgot about that old restaurant rule, always 3 things on a plate. Other confusing thing is they call it a tap room but they made no interior changes at all and it looks like nothing I would call a taproom, its just the same nice semiformal inside it used to be. Then in a effort to aline themselves with the now less formal menu they decided to make the staff look less formal by having everyone dress in jeans and plaid shirts. But maybe a bridge to far here with everyone in different old faded shirts and jeans, some with ripped out knees. Whole thing was mish mosh odd and not really working for me.
Oh and change your phone message person, he sounds really bad.
