Family are in the bar at the manor non. Dining room was a little too formal for our tastes. Bar is inviting. We had veal braciole (outstanding), filet, eggplant park and broiled fishermans platter. All very good.

My brother and our wives enjoyed dinner prior to New Years Eve. We were lucky to sit in bar area. Our waitress Cindy was super. The drinks were plenty good, appetizers spot on, and our meals were Awesome. Our filets were cooked perfect! We will be back soon!

Yesterday I met an old friend for lunch. It was a perfect day! The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas & the food was yummy! It had been a long time since she and I have met up, when she asked where, I recommended Manor Inn... We used to go there all the time years ago, but we had both moved since those days. It seemed like the perfect choice & IT WAS!
We decided to sit on the bar side which is more casual than the banquet / dining side. Our waitresses were both very friendly, efficient & fun! (We had a lot of catching up to do & stayed through two shifts - LOL) - We loved it & plan to go again before the end of the year! Soup, meal, dessert & a glass of wine - all to perfection.

This isn't the type of restaurant I usually go to, but I was meeting some friends for dinner and they suggested it. It's a perfectly acceptable place for a meal....nothing outstanding but nothing really bad.
The bread is nothing to right home about...white, fluffy stuff, so I didn't indulge.
We opted for the early bird special and it was fine. I had the lentil soup, which was very tasty and well flavored, followed by the pecan crusted scrod. That was a real winner. The pecan crust was so good! This came with a baked potato and steamed green beans as well. All in all a very healthy portion for not a lot of money. The others in our group also went with a fish ( one chose the Cajun salmon served over a bed of spinach, and the other went off the early bird menu for scallops). We were all more than satisfied for our meals.
This place doesn't have lots of ambiance, but it certainly has a loyal following. Most of the diners who came in knew the servers by name, and it was clear that while this doesn't seem like a neighborhood spot, that is indeed what it is. It was friendly, reasonably priced and with good basic food.
