Ed and Christine are terrific hosts: welcoming, fun conversationalists, very knowledgeable about the area. The house is comfortably furnished with lovely antiques, steeped in local history. Breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay.

This bed and breakfast was a wonderful surprise for my wife. We were celebrating our first anniversary. The country-style farmhouse was absolutely beautiful inside with the original wood floors and railings. (Chestnut I believe) The Inn Keepers, Christine and Ed, were very polite and provided everything that you could want. The screened-from-view pool area was a perfect treat and the property gardens were bright with color. The John Moseley room was elegant and luxurious; we wish we could have stayed longer.

Room Tip: The John Moseley Bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom

We loved the fresh well water, the lovely lawn, the fresh country air.

Breakfast was excellent! Made-to-order eggs and a lot of fresh fruit and local yogurt.

The house is gorgeous and clean. The hosts were super sweet. The sheets were incredibly soft and the bed like a cloud. We slept like logs.

It was excellent!

Warm, friendly proprietors... went above and beyond to make sure my family was happy, comfortable, and safe! Lovely attention paid to details to ensure a great trip with our 2.5 year old daughter, including a rollaway bed with a bedrail and a booster chair at our wonderful breakfast. Pool, lawn, and garden are all lovely. Should we be anywhere in the area in the future we'll certainly be back!

This was our second stay at the Cornucopia and it already feels like home! Ed & Christine are marvelous hosts. Their inn is a Connecticut classic: smooth old wooden plank floors, hand-stitched quilts, bright, airy rooms, rolling green backyard (and yes! a paddock nearby!). Christine serves up yummy breakfasts every day. This time, we had the added treat of hosting a family afternoon gathering at Cornucopia: everything was perfect, from the food, the gracious backyard environment and the warm, friendliness of our hosts. Staying at the Cornucopia is the quintessential Connecticut experience -- and shouldn't be missed!

Room Tip: They're all great.

Very clean and quiet. We rented the suite with our 3 year old daughter. The accomadations were perfect (ver large room). Christine and Ed made special accomidations for our daughter and and we were not made to feel awkward with a toddler in the house even when she spilled her milk at breakfast! I was participating in a triathlon that weekend and special arragements were made for breakfast VERY EARLY. A class act and I will definitely be back next year.

A pristine and impeccable B&B. It feels like home the moment you walk in the door. I was greeted by Suzanne who is a warm and friendly person adding to the charm of the invironment. My room was perfect, clean and bright and tastefully decorated. The grounds are fabulous. It was difficult for me to leave to explore the area. It is so inviting, it would be very easy to stay there all day and simply enjoy the views. I arrived unexpectedly and quite early. I was offered a full breakfast which I gladly accepted. Do come and enjoy something very special. You will not be disappointed.
