Jomblang cave is a vertical cave with dense ancient forest below. A 300 meter alley with its beautiful natural ornament will bring you to the edge of Gua Grubug (Grubug Cave), a place where you can see amazing ray of light, or local people called it "Cahaya Illahi" (divinely light).

Package tour ticket is IDR 450k/person
Operational hour: 10 am - 2 pm

Boots are provided by the operator since the track within the cave is quite muddy.

You will do rappeling 60 meters down since it is a vertical cave. That was an amazing feeling!
And you'll do it one more time on your way back out of the cave. There will be 10-20 people pulling the rope up, so don't worry. They will have your back.
The tools and rope are in good condition, so enjoy the journey.

We arrived early to ensure we were the first group to make it down. We were given hardhat (advisable to use a shower cap before putting on cause the ones provided stank) and boots. The path leading down to the cave is really slippery and muddy as it rained the day before.

Should definitely use a torch light or head lamps as it is completely pitch black in the cave.

I was there in November. If possible, bring your own hardhat. Those provided stink! Probably due to the damp strap under the chin. Bring a torch and a pair of old, long socks too as boots must have been worn by many people. I must say the hats and boots look clean... but.

Very expensive entree 450,000rp.(even children 8 and 10 years old the same as adult price) Honestly, i don't know why this place is so special...

비싸구요. 정말 가실곳이 없으면 가세여. 덥구.. 입장료도 비싸고,, 안전하지도 않은것 같구요. 감성이 매말랐는지.. 별 감흥이 없네여.

We took our own private transport there and arrived early to make the first group down. You are lowered down in pairs and the walk to the caves takes a couple of minutes. The path leading down is slippery, muddy and dark Torch lights or head lamps are recommended and wear the boots provided by the operator. It is hot and sticky in the cave but all is forgotten when you see the light shinning into the cave. It is a sight to behold, truly beautiful and mesmerizing. You can clean up after the tour before having a simple packed lunch which is included in the price.
