Fascinating museum. Take a walk through the life of a farmer-antique tractors, a log cabin, a school house, train station etc. Covers every aspect of agriculture in U.S. history, from agricultural technology and transportation, to life of children on the farm. Great for all ages-it kept us busy for hours!

We enjoyed stopping by the museum! Lots to see! I love the fact that the buildings are actual buildings that were in use in Delaware long ago! I can't imagine the work it took to move them to the musuem grounds!

Myself, husband, our 5 year old, Nana and Grandpa had a wonderful visit to the center. There were hands on activities for our son, LOADS of tractors and equipment, and exhibits you could walk through and explore. The model trains traveling through local farms was great.
We all loved walking through the village, and our son loved playing the School Master, ringing the bell for us to go out and play with the 'olden days' toys.
Really a great visit.

Hello sarasam17!
This is Valerie at the front desk and I remember your family visit! We are so happy that you chose the Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village to visit while visiting from Spain. We truly have something for everyone; from the youngest to the oldest! Historically speaking, farming communities have a lot in common with everyone who lived in the "olden days". Wood stoves were used to warm families and cook meals and desserts, and pumps were used to provide much needed water. I'm so glad your son had fun 'ringing the bell' because the bell was used not only to bring children to school, but also to bring the community together for important meetings and family gatherings. Thanks again for visiting and taking time to tell about your visit. Happy New Year!

Nov 29, 2017. Went to the museum - the lady working there was wonderful. Gave me a site map - answered all my questions - she is awesome (Valerie?). I'm can't remember names. The museum, buildings and grounds are wonderful. The sound of the Canada geese flying overhead - was glorious. Wished the geese would have set their wings and pitched into the museum property. Saf e haven.

We really enjoyed our visit to the DE Ag Museum. It was very visual to hold the children's attention while also having more detailed write-ups for my husband and I who both love history. When we left and asked everyone what was their favorite part, sweet Lulu the pig was the win of the day, followed by how interesting it is to think of how differently people lived from today.
