Excellent new hotel. Wonderful breakfast. Nice place to stay coming north from Key West. I used our AAA discount. Great price for a new, clean hotel. Nice outdoor pool. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel for a night's stay.

We live in a low-lying area nearby, so we made a reservation here, in case the storm came our way. It did. We got lucky, with no damage to our home, but the storm knocked our power out for the week that we stayed here. We feel fortunate to have found this hotel. The owners and employees are friendly, attentive and really care about their guests. I had to work from our room, so the wired high-speed internet was a big plus. Free breakfast with better-than-expected coffee was a pleasant surprise. Lots of nearby shopping & restaurants and a location one mile from the Suncoast Parkway made this the perfect location for us. This location will be my first choice for future stays in this area.

When Hurricane Irma headed our way I was unable to get the supplies and items needed to shore up our house in ft. Myers. We headed to the North Georgia area but were stopped dead on I-75 North. After 8 grueling hours of stop and go we turned around and headed home. I saw the holiday inn sign and pulled in. We got 2 rooms for 2 nights. We were pleasantly greeted by staff and found our rooms, lobby, breakfast area, hallways and elevator neat and immaculately clean. The rooms were large and very clean. The beds were comfy. When we saw what Irma was doing, we asked for an extension. It was touch and go for awhile, but we were able to stay for a total of 6 nights, including the Sunday evening Irma hit the Tampa area. A loss of power for 10 hours or so and even water for a few hours was not an issue. The staff were very friendly and understanding and each were carrying out multiple duties with a smile. We had not one instance when an employee or manager was not willing to help in any large or small matter to accommodate-and this was when they had concerns for their own families and property before and after Irma roared through. The hotel stayed neat and clean for the duration. I cannot say enough for the job the employees and management did to keep us cheerful and also keep the property clean with everything functional. Our thanks to these wonderful people who helped us while under stress for their own family safety. I even believe that there may have been a "Tom Cruise sighting" on our last morning there. Tom is taller than most people think.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were clean and updated, and the pool area was well kept with warm water. The front desk was very helpful in finding delivery and putting our family of 6 in close rooms. Breakfast had lots of options- egg white omelets, make your own mini pancakes, cinnamon rolls, fruit, bagels, muffins, toast, bacon- pretty much anything basic you could imagine. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay at this hotel.

We always stay here on our way down to SW Florida. The rooms are always clean with very comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is good with lots of choices and there is never a problem with grabbing a few items before they technically open in the am. We will continue to use this hotel for all our future layovers.
