I wasn't thrilled about staying in a hotel with outside rooms because it reminded me of those sketchy old motels off the highway. Once we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was updated and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They let us check-in early without batting an eye. We got to our room and actually parked right at our door, so it was easy getting our luggage in and out. The room was clean, beds were comfy..the decor was a little dated. The door felt secure so I wasn't worried about it opening to the parking lot. I really enjoyed the pool and the pool bar. the pool deck could use a good scrubbing in some areas, but overall it was a nice pool area. The hotel is conveniently located to the cruise port, restaurants and stores if you need to pickup some last minute items for the cruise. This a good hotel pick if you're looking for a place before or after your cruise.

We have stayed here several times before leaving on a cruise. This time we stayed a little longer then usual. We arrived at 6 am after having a long flight delay. We had one if the suites so that we could see the ship in the morning when we woke up. The rooms are nice, nothing overly fancy but definitely a great size. There was a small kitchen area with a table, a living room and then a separate bedroom with 2 beds. There was also a large spa type tube in the corner of the bedroom. There is a vanity area with a sink and a large closet right outside the bathroom and the bathroom had a large stand up shower. The pool area is very nice. There is a seperate pool for smaller kids and also a hot tub. There is a bar where you can order drinks and food. Plenty of tables and chairs in this area and lounge chairs by the pool. They offer a buffet breakfast in the morning but there is a charge. You can set up transportation from the hotel to the ships at the front desk. There are a lot of places to eat in the area and nice beaches as well.

This is my fifth time staying at this hotel and love it. We always do the cruise packet and had our shuttle for 1030 and got it changed to 0900 when reservations told us the had an earlier time. The shuttle process was quick and we were at the port by 0930 and onboard by 1045.
