The swimming pool was a hit with the kids. The park is located just across the road from the beach and the beach was not crowded. The sites were a little close but well thought out and maintained. We will be back soon.

Pros
Concrete pad for camper
Table at site
Pool, game room, playground for the kids
Beach within walking distance
Park was always clean
Easy access while towing through park and all roads in park are paved.
Well stocked store on site
Employees were nice and helpful.

Cons
No shade for your camper
No fire ring for s'mores
Sites are a little close together.

We love all thinks RVC. This is the third RVV destination we had stayed at and we are hooked. The location is fabulous. You only have to walk across a two lane road and you're right on the beach. The locals are so friendly and as for the fellow campers, we have met people from all over the US. We always feel like we are among family when we stay. It is very dog friendly and the kids love riding their bikes around the park every evening. The people who work here always make us feel welcome and are just another perk for us to visit. We have even used the cabins when family wish to join us, which are cute and comfy. We love it!

Stayed three nights in May, 2017 in a 33' Motor home. Excellent facility with all level cement pads with picnic tables and some with grills. Outdoor immaculate pool with clean modern shower facilities. Directly across the street from a uncrowded public beach with soft white sand. Friendly campers and helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this park to all

We had a pull-through spot when we stayed, which was a blessing considering we had only owned our camper for about 4 weeks at the time. The property is very nice and everyone was so helpful! The bathhouses are nice and the pool is great! Don't be discouraged thinking that the beach is small. We originally thought that the beach was confined to the small public area that you can see from the road. It actually goes on for miles to the right and left of the public area. Our puppy had plenty of area to run and play (one of the few dog friendly beaches in the area). We also realized that the campground is only about 20 minutes from Apalachicola and about 20 from St. George. Both have great restaurants and bars if that's your thing. It is more pricey than a state park, but average for a private campground and the amenities can't be beat. I would definitely recommend Carrabelle campground.

Really rude over the phone. I called to ask about availability over a month in advance. I explained that the time frame I selected on the website showed as unavailable but because my dates are very flexible I thought she might be able to find a block of dates that would work. She refused to help me unless I gave her specific arrival and departure dates. She lectured me, did not listen to me, showed no interest in actually helping me and seemed unable to understand the concept of flexible dates.
