I would never have tried this restaurant if it wasn't for a good friends recommendation. Even though the restaurant is not appealing from the outside and the inside is nothing extraordinary (from a design perspective), the food speaks for itself. Best risotto in town (recommend the short rib or carbonara risotto). I always order as appetizer the radiologist which you can order by unit (suggest the short rib and pear ravioli). If you are looking for good Italian/Cuban fusion look no more and give this place a try.

The place is buzzing with the sounds of satisfied customers. Every table has smiles all around. The food is prepared with an OCD like perfection in look and taste.

Ernie owns this joint and he has done an excellent job at merging Italian cuisine with a touch of Argentina. This is one of the locals hidden gems. When in Miami give them a try.

My favorites: short ribs over champagne risotto, madys chicken and meat candy.

Enjoy!

We make it a point to go to Cafe Vialetto once a month. We never have had a bad dish there . The calamari is an appetizer favorite for us. The hardest part is choosing an entree. Especially with the daily specials changing..it takes a little longer to decide . But you can't go wrong with any of the delicious risottos, I've had them all. My favorite dish is the short rib with champagne risotto. But always leave for dessert . The staff is also great, knowledgeable and friendly. Ernie always makes us feel very welcome like a part of his family. When we have friends visiting we know Cafe Vialetto will be stop. We always recommend it.

You wouldn't notice this place driving by, but if you are looking for an excellent meal then you are making the right call here........the restaurant is billed as an interesting hybrid of Italian/Carribean-Latin food........ordered from the Miami Spice menu so can't confirm these dishes are there year round but the meal was great top to bottom: bread with something like a pico de gallo, a pear type ravioli, glazed teriyaki chicken risotto, finished up with berries and cream.....so good......i'd definitely eat here again!

Ernie and the staff make each patron feel like they are family. From the moment you walk in you smell the aromas of the most creative fusion of Italian with a Caribbean flare. Unique dishes, pear raviolis, shrimp fritters in a spicy Asian sauce, the best risotto hands down and the short ribs melt in your mouth. Finish it all off with The Funk, you'll crave this dessert. I may have to make a reservation for this weekend. The location may throw you off a little as it's not the fanciest but it is absolutely the best. Valet parking is a mere 5.00. You will thank me when you choose to dine here. Bon appetite
