Comments and Suggestions
All blinds need to be replaced. Most of them don’t work at all or they have blades missing.
All bedroom furniture should be replaced. Full of scratches and dents.
Screen in twin bedroom to the left of the towel closet has a 2 inch hole so unable to open window.
The bathtub on the second floor (not Master Bedroom) does not drain properly making it slippery. There seems to be built up of mole as well.
Lamps in the Master Bedroom did not work but were quickly replaced with new lamps.
Small table in kitchen has a wooden stick underneath missing when you extend the table.
In the utensils drawer, there was only 1 teaspoon, 3 butter knives, and 2 steak knives. Tablespoons and forks were fine.
In the cupboards there is 1 dinner plate and 2 small bowls with deep chips in them. Someone could get hurt. Especially small children unaware.
There are a lot of big bowls in the pantry cabinet and a suggestion would be to have some baking dishes.
Two burners on the stove were not working. Maintenance replaced one and got the other working but not very well. Top of the stove needs to be replaced if not the whole unit.
Washing machine and dryer is very small and old and should be replaced. The tray base that the washer and dryer sit on is so dirty that you can’t even begin to clean it.
The downstairs bathroom where the washer and dryer are has only one door and the other is leaning against the wall. Maintenance tried to put the door in but the door was too short and did not fit. Also in back of the units, you don’t even want to look at that. It is just full of mole and dirt, dirt, dirt.
The light above the large table is full of cobwebs and the ceiling fans need a good cleaning. Very dirty around the blades.
This unit is in need of a complete renovation. Not sure if you are aware of any of these problems.
I am not a hard person to please but I want to stay in a clean place. I tried to clean as much as possible but there was just so much I was able to do. You really need to check this unit.
This next part is to make you aware of the resort itself. This resort has new ownership and a lot of places are closed. Including the restaurant, game room for kids, bar isn’t open except at certain times, hair braiding and massages are only opened by appointment only. I have heard a lot of comments regarding all of these issues. People are saying they would not come back because they did not like the idea of having to call out for food to be delivered and nothing for the kids to do except swim in the pool. Everyone was saying that they should have been told these places were not going to be available to them. Ourselves included.
We paid approximately $6000 for this unit plus resort fees and this place was very disappointing and not at all what we expected. We were here two years ago and everything was very different. Things have to change if they want people to come back. The word out is that most people are not returning.
