Description: The restaurant in an old home, built in 1910. It has recently been restored to accentuate it's original beauty and craftsmanship. It is warm and homey, just like home. The beautiful stained glass windows are the homes original windows. The grounds are landscaped with lush green and colorful plants.

Formerly Holliday House but appears to be unchanged. Inexpensive Buffet includes salad bar. Not a wide variety or large selection but all items sampled had a made from scratch appearance and flavor. Leg of lamb quite good as was chicken pot pie.
Good food at very reasonable price

Buffet was so good. All the locals know about this place. You will leave happy and full....too full in our case, but wonderful. The staff were wonderful. The variety of food was just too much to try to document here.

Visiting Cooks is like visiting friends for Sunday dinner. You feel welcome the moment you walk in, food is delicious and dessert is amazing.

Our friends had highly recommended this restaurant to meet at for lunch. It is a buffet restaurant and they do have a few menu items. Unless you want to eat salad only this is not a vegan-friendly place to go. Even some of the vegetables had bacon in them. My lunch in experience was barely adequate, however it is a testament to the place it was totally packed and people were very happy. I'm glad that I went but I would never go back. Not even with my friends paying.

We have eaten here many times, first when it was called Holiday House, and then the original owner's son took it over and changed the name.
