The food was good. We ordered fresh lobster and rock shrimp. Had a good salad with him made dressing. Family owned and operated. Would highly recommend.

Finally got in the area & decided to grab some dinner. Not much to look at from the outside & the interior wasn't much better. Service was quick, we got seated & our drinks came, food was good , portion size was ok, just not a fan, it tasted ok
JC's Lobster Pot may not look pretty from the outside but the great seafood and helpful staff inside the door assure you that you came to the right place for dinner. Early bird specials are a bargain, the food is delicious, and the waitstaff is efficient and very accommodating.
We had passed this place quite a few times and thought it looked eclectic. I read the reviews and knowing every one has some bad ones cause you can't please everyone...the staff was very friendly and service was good.. Now for the food. There were four of us and we all ordered something different. No one looked their meal. The chowder was mainly non flavored potato soup. The salad and baked potato was good. We all ordered seafood since we are at a seafood restaurant...it was overcooked and tasteless. I really didn't think you could mess up fried shrimp. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing! The place as packed so I guess there are plenty that like it but not for us. Definitely would not spend that kind of money there again.
Was in the area checking out the local fare. Conch frittters? Check... tasted the conch, not a ton, but good. Not a fan of the dipping sauce, catalina dressing? Had the mahi sandwich, grilled. Very fresh, grilled to perfection, bravo. Fries were warm and crisp. Clam chowder... pass on this. All potatoes, no clams, clam broth tasted like they drained it from a tin can. Will go back based upon the mahi.
