An outstanding, flavorful crust topped with quality ingredients. I seem to eat all my pizza crust at Marigolds, which is a testament to how good it is. I'm working my way through the menu and haven't hit a clunker yet - all the pizzas are delicious.
I checked the "cheap eats" box in this review, but be prepared - Marigolds isn't Dominos. You can't stuff your gut for almost nothing (thankfully!). But for under $20 you can have a pizza that the most picky among you will appreciate. To me that's a deal!
Last time I was there, I watched a provisions truck being unloaded while sitting outside and waiting for my pizza ... true to Marigold's claims, the flour and some other ingredients were locally sourced.
Marigolds isn't fancy, but there is inside and outside seating - I suggest trying to eat your pizza at the restaurant right out of the wood-fired oven when at its hottest deliciousness. Hungry. Now.
