This is a very well maintained and updated condo. The appliances all looked brand new, the place was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, with soft sheets. Nice leather couches in the living room. You can tell the owner is very meticulous in keeping their home well maintained. This is by far the nicest rental I have ever stayed in, and would come back again in a heartbeat. There is also private beach access, a pool and a designated parking spot. The partially covered patio has a barbecue pit, plenty of outdoor furniture, and a hose to keep the sand out of the home. The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with.
The townhouse is so beautiful and cozy. The location is secluded yet near restaurants that you can easily walk to. We felt right at home in this townhouse
Stayed for a few days in mid October, from Monday - Friday. The weather was great and the accommodations are about 4 blocks from the beach. There is a nice parking lot at the end of the drive on the street that we used to haul all our stuff to the beach, but if you don't need to be a packmule, it's an easy walk.
The townhouse itself was decent. The couch and chair in the living room were very comfortable. Bedroom and patio furniture were adequate. We did have a few issues. The housekeeping left a bit to be desired in one of the bedrooms, the screen on the sliding glass door was broke, as was the dishwasher.
To the owner's credit, she was very VERY quick to respond to messages I left on TripAdvisor. She had the housekeeping crew come back our second day and fix the issues they left behind when we arrived. We eventually went to texting when the dishwasher started having issues. Apparently, they had had an issue with the dishwasher, but thought it was fixed (nope). Fortunately, since we were only there for a few days, this wasn't a HUGE issue (though I'm a neat freak), but the housekeepers had their work cut out for them.
There is a washer and dryer which is nice, as well as a hose setup outside to wash the sand off (if you don't use the one at the pool on your way back to the townhouse). The master bedroom has a balcony, which we didn't use.
At the end of the street, on the beach, is a nice restaurant called Captain Dave's on the Gulf. I reviewed it on Yelp.
That's the only retail close enough to walk to. There is a Publix grocery store about a mile away, as well as a TON of other retail and restaurants around town.
Just spent the most fantastic 3 days in this town house,I'll never stay in a motel again, this was a surprise engagement for my granddaughter, she had no idea the family would be there so having this place just made it all the more special, thank you so much Constance
