My girlfriend, now my fiancé, and I spent four days at the Henderson Park Inn recently. It was mind blowingly incredible! We got engaged on our “toes in the sand” dinner, which was not only delicious but exceptionally romantic. I proposed soon after the sun had set and our wonderful waiter lit tiki torches surrounding our table.I sort of based our whole trip on that opportunity and the Beach Walk Cafe and Henderson Park Inn made the whole thing magical. The service was wonderful! Our room was wonderful with a beautiful view of the ocean! The area it is in is both private and extremely convenient, walking distance to the Destin commons mall and all kinds of restaurants and shopping. We got the best couples massage of our lives at the Henderson Beach Resort, the sister company to the Inn, where we also closed most of our nights on the beautiful roof top bar! Again, we could walk there in 5 mins. We had food delivered to us when we spent our days on the very private beach! They bring it to the umbrella /chairs that they set up daily! Truly, the place was remarkable! We have no desire to stay anywhere else in Destin… and now that we were engaged there, we see it as part of our history…we will be coming back(from Nashville) yearly to stay at the Henderson Park Inn! Hopefully more!
