The Henderson Beach and Spa Resort is very serene during off peak season. My main attraction to selecting this resort was the separation between adults only and family at the poolside and private beach. I don’t consume alcohol, however the rooftop bar view is phenomenal and a relaxing space for socializing. They do serve sushi and that’s a favorite for me.
The heated pools are a gem when visiting in the coolest weather. The fountain features along the poolside is very meditative. I literally swim for an hour every morning without stopping and believe me the water is warm.
If you want to get inside the ocean during off peak season, I would highly recommend investing in a wetsuit. The insulated suit kept me warm and I was still able to enjoy time in the ocean.
The only recommendation that I would strongly suggest is to maintain the lavatories on the beach more frequently. They don’t compliment your reputation at all. I would advise to have them cleaned/sanitized and restocked every four hours from 8:00 to 20:00 hours, daily.
The rooms are comfortable with a pleasant feel. My favorite part of the room is the luxury cast iron soaking tub and the outdoor private living space.
I didn’t dine out nor did I use the spa during my stay this time. However I did choose to do in-room dining.
You must check and recheck your order because you are in...The Henderson Beach and Spa Resort is very serene during off peak season. You must check and recheck your order because you are in the south and pork/pig/swine is very common here. Pork isn’t always mentioned in the description but you can receive your order and later you will find bits and pieces of it in your bowl; for example their Seafood Chowder. It states Scallops, shrimp, crab, fresh thyme on the menu, but pork was absolutely found in the bowl.
Two things I would recommend for the rooms, because I do consider this resort to be upscale, is having “Toto wash-lets”installed and having firm and soft pillows available in the rooms.
If you’re interested in a relaxing stay during off peak season, this is truly a five star recommendation. More
