Just by looking at the location on Google maps I thought this was going to be an over-the-top beach. It was nice bout it does sit at the entrance to a channel so there is a lot of boat activity. I only saw one good looking woman. Take your own food and drink (no alcohol beverages allowed - but I had a beer with my ChopTrop from Pollo Tropical and I wasn't arrested) as there isn't anything there. You can walk down the beach to the hotel and I believe they have a restaurant. If you walk over the hill through the trees (yes there is a path) there is a private spot to enjoy - except for all the boat traffic.

Love this beach at the end of Ft Myers Beach. Pay parking and a nice boardwalk to get to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful and great views of the sunset! Had a nice time looking for shells here!

This beach is located on the northern tip of Fort Myers Beach. I appreciate the fact that it is not located among the hotels and bars along the beach and so it is quiet and natural. I see dolphin almost every time I visit this beach and the water is beautiful.

This is one of our favorite beaches in Fort Myers. From the parking lot, there is a wooden walkway bordered with palm trees. Picture perfect. Because Bowditch is at the very end of the road, so there aren't as many people. I have often seen dolphins, and even manatees have been spotted. There are clean restrooms a short walk away. The pier is walking distance away, so if you're up for the exercise, you can enjoy lunch at one of the many oceanfront eatery's. The one thing I'm disappointed in is that they don't rake the seaweed away. It had an offensive smell and really takes away from the beauty.

This is a nice place to visit and relax on the beach away from the busy section of Times Sq. part of the Fort Myers Beach. There are bathroom facilities, showers and tables under a cover in case of rain or just shade.
