My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights 15th March onwards. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by the staff. Our room was not ready when we arrived, that is because we arrived early and they told us to leave our cases with them and enjoy the pool area until the room was ready. We stayed in room number 1 which was a 1 bedroom apartment with a full size fridge freezer , a cooker and microwave. The bed was a king size and a television with a 40 inch screen. Outside the front door within 5 metres was the swimming pool which had plenty of shade if required. There were 3 hotels together in the complex and you could use any pool you wished. The lovely beach was situated about 600 metres away along with the local transport stops. Only one thing I could fault with the Cocobelle is that it could do with drapes over the window blinds to keep the outside lights from shining into the bedroom other wise I would have give a five star rating. Still a lovely time spent there.

Had the opportunity to stay at Cocobelle and would recommend this property. Cocobelle is part of North Beach Village Resorts and is located a short walk from the famous Fort Lauderdale beach...lots of restaurants and shops within a short walk. We stayed in room 14 which had a queen bed, twin bed and a small kitchen with a toaster and coffee pot. Next to the pool is a bbq that we saw one family using for dinner.

Since we checked in after midnight, we had to check in at one of their sister properties Tranquilo down the block...check in and check out was very easy. Every staff member we met was extremely pleasant and helpful...we were even granted a late checkout.

One day while lounging at the pool...they brought around plastic cups with frozen grapes in them...very refreshing.

I was a little hesitant to stay here during spring break, but there were no issues at all. There was a family of 5 from Canada, a elderly couple from Wales, a few college girls from Ohio State University by the pool...but no craziness that normally comes with spring break.

FYI...no phones in the room...so if you need something you have to find someone to help...we needed help with the tv and more towels...had to walk to Tranquilo to get help...and the repairman came over quickly and he called housekeeping.

Hotel is two floors and all rooms overlook pool...if you face challenges going up stairs...ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator.

Bed was comfy...room was clean...and I felt safe...those are the things I find most important.

Room Tip: All rooms overlook the pool....you can go on their website and choose a room/size based on your needs. We were in room 14 and it was upstairs...no elevator if this is an issue make sure you ask for a room on the first floor.

Jose P,
Thanks for your review. We agree with you, Cocobelle is a great place. With a variety of room types, a great location and great rates, it's tough to be this 16 unit boutique hotel! Thanks again for staying with us. Take care, NBV

I've staved here several times. I liked it under the previous owners, and still like it under the new owners. The group that bought it has acquired multiple other mom and pop properties in this area. They are updating them and doing a nice job.

The rooms at Cocobelle have been redecorated in very light colors with pristine white bedding. Appliances are new and work. (Milk froze in the refrigerator!). Nice pool and tropical garden. Free parking. The area is peaceful and quiet. Free WiFi.

-No elevator.
-Windows have Venetian blinds which do not keep out the light at night. I hang something over the blinds to make it darker.
-The refrigerator emits a quiet purring sound as it continuously cycles. I use ear plugs at night.
-The office is in Tranquilo at the other end of the block, maybe 500 feet away. No hotel staff are on the Cocobelle property.
-No telephone in the room.
-Nice TV with big flat screen but Ii couldn't find any of the multiple channels that were worth watching.
