Called same day and was able to book with no problems. I understand that they state due to Hurricane IRMA they’re cleaning but I’ve stayed several times and carpets are disgusting dirty with smelly

This was a nice place to spend the night on the way to Miami, the location was easy off and on to I 95 and there were plenty of place to eat nearby, the hotel was quite and the evening and morning staff were nice

The hotel is barely functioning after sustaining hurricane damage. Do not stay here until the hotel is full operational. The pool is closed, entire walls were missing, and the rooms smelled of mildew.

We’ve just flown in from Panama (moving back), exhausted, and stayed here a couple of days to buy a car before heading out. We were kind of surprised that no one helped us with our luggage (maybe that’s normal in the US) but the hotel is nice. Not sure why they don’t have a shuttle for the airport that is so close, and because my phone wouldn’t work at the airport, we had to use a taxi, who charged us OVER $40 for that short ride. That didn’t make me one bit happy, so I was not happy when they just let my 80 year old husband try and handle 6+pieces of luggage. A small consideration like that goes a long way.

You can tell they had some damage from the last hurricane and the hotel is full of linemen working in the area, but our room is clean, the beds are oh, so comfy, and the staff have been helpful. Our housekeeper came to clean our room, but we just wanted to rest, but asked for more towels and coffee. She mentioned that there is always coffee on in the breakfast area as well. I think her name was Sandra. I think that was going the extra mile. She was very friendly.

The breakfast is OK, but sure wish there was more fruit. It is a very basic carb breakfast.

The pool area looked beautiful and I would have loved a swim, it the weather was not cooperating. Maybe at our next La Quinta.

So happy they accept pets without a charge. That earns bonus points for sure. So we’ll be staying at La Quintas all across the country!

Thank you for your survey and appreciate your nice comments. Our location close to the airport in the City of Hollywood provides shuttle service. We have boiled eggs as well in the breakfast and we have 2 different type of fruits. Since we do not have a bellman, please ask the front desk if you required help with luggage or anything else, we will be more than happy to assist you.

Dirty Hotel: carpet and floors in rooms, dirty drapes. Stained and dirty furniture. Musty order. Couches and carpet in lobby. Tile in hallways, stained dirty carpet throughout hotel. Even for one night - STAY AWAY!!
