Stayed here two nights. Very reasonable rates for this weekend. Best part is hotel has a free shuttle that takes you within a five mile radius. This goes to Historic Downtown where great shopping and many restaurants are. No need to take a car out. Lots of nightlife downtown.

My colleague and I happened to arrive on Easter Sunday when there was a street parade routing us through all the backroads, and make no mistake, this hotel is in the ghetto. If you don't know this, it's because you took main roads to get there and only headed one way towards downtown.

Clue one: in FL, a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. Clue two: in FL, a cop rolls around every 5 mins. Clue three: you're near an MLK Blvd - sadly.

Downtown historic made me think we were going to be in a walkable area --NOT, but it was not too far of a drive to the places we went. The hotel must have been renovated recently as it was fresh and clean. There were electrical problems with our room, but they moved us to another room at peak season. We thought we had struck it when the second room has a view of the pool, but it is accessible all night and there were people out enjoying themselves for much of the night -- ask for a room on the other side of the hotel if the noise bothers you.
We planned on eating at the hotel, and while the breakfast was not too expensive it looked like it looked like rewarmed food that had been cooked earlier, we went to the nearby First Watch with was the same money and much better.

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Miami. The staff was friendly, check in was smooth. Plenty of parking. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Great internet connection. We would stay here again.

My family goes to Fort Myers, FL annually for a week in March to attend Red Sox spring training games. We stayed this year at the Quality Inn historic downtown in Fort Myers. Our rooms were nice and quiet. The free hotel shuttle was a huge added bonus. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next year. Kudos to our bus driver Randy who took us nightly to the downtown area.
